Adam and Joe on Three

Cult's favourite comedy duo joins the new digital network, BBC Three.

Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish are moving from Channel Four to host a series on Japanese pop culture.

The show will see the pair living in a luxury Tokyo apartment where they will present a weekly round-up of all the new Japanese films, comics, video games and toys.

Adam and Joe are famous for their Channel Four series The Adam and Joe Show, and for putting the 'cheer' back into 'cheap n' cheerful TV'.

Their sketches featured the duo going into a pound shop and asking how much each item cost, as well as being thrown out of stores for eating the free 10% of chocolate bars and putting them back ("It's alright, that bit was free"). They are also famed for their film spoofs using classic Star Wars figures.

It is hoped that the series will be the first of many collaborations between the duo and BBC Three.
