Sarah Michelle Gellar is to add her voice to an episode of The Simpsons.

A news story in the current edition of the US listings magazine TV Guide says that Sarah has already recorded the episode, which will air in the early part of 2004.

She plays a juvenile delinquent called Gina who helps Bart escape from detention in a homage to the film The Defiant Ones.
