Born on 24th January 1957, Adrian Edmondson first came to the public's attention as part of a new breed of 'alternative' comedians, appearing in The Comic Strip Presents..., Saturday Night Live and The Young Ones.

Adrian Edmondson is best known for his on-screen partnership with Rik Myall (Bottom, The Young Ones Guest House Paradiso etc.). Off-screen Adrian is married to Jennifer Saunders, Julia Sawalha's Absolutely Fabulous co-star.

Adrian Edmondson appeared as Simon Knowles in an episode of the ITV children's drama series Press Gang, which starred Julia Sawalha.
