Born on 6th March 1966, Alan Davies divides his time between acting and working as a stand-up comedian.

While Jonathan Creek is undoubtedly his most famous role, other successful television appearances have included A Many Splintered Thing and Bob and Rose.

Alan once successfully bid £3,000 for the diary room chair that featured in the original Big Brother series.
