Former theatrical agent Carla first meets Jonathan whilst he is dealing with American illusionist Alan Kalanak, a client of hers.
The two are thrown together when Kalanak's wife, actress, Vivian Brodie, is murdered.
Carla joins forces with Jonathan to solve the crime. It is not an easy alliance, however - in fact they positively loathe each other!
Much her to her disgust, Carla is reunited with Jonathan a short while later. Newly married to television producer Brendan Baxter, Carla now works as a presenter on his new real-life crime show.
Not realising her antagonism for Jonathan, Brendan invites Creek to offer his insight into a series of murders.
Carla continues to front ever more bizarre shows and solve ever more impossible crimes with Jonathan.
Carla attempts to be very forceful, but underneath it all she is really very vulnerable and soft centred.
