For neurotic PR agent Edina (Jennifer Saunders) and her fashion editor friend Patsy (Joanna Lumley) work was one big lunch break, eating at trendy restaurants, shopping at Harvey Nicks and rubbing shoulders with anyone famous they could find.
Everyone was 'Darling' or 'Sweetie' as they tried to re-live their
1960s youth, much to the embarrassment and annoyance of Eddy's
teenage daughter Saffron.
She was far too sensible to be caught up in their world of fags,
