Tiny rabbits, bears, mice and frogs that were cute, cuddly and - best of all - tied into a TV series. A must have for every girly girl.

They sold by the barrel-load, became collectors items, and carried on the proud tradition of Care Bears, Pound Puppies and the like.

What exactly was Sylvanian about them is open to debate.
