It was a breakthrough year for one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. In July, Marley’s London Lyceum shows, recorded for the album "Live! Bob Marley and the Wailers" raised the profile of the devoted Rastafarian and paved the way for a reggae explosion in Britain.
