K9 & Company was a pilot for a spin-off series from Doctor Who. The title music was composed by Ian Levine, one of the first big name DJs at groundbreaking London nightclub Heaven and a big cheese in the Northern Soul movement.

But let's just concentrate for a few moments on the sheer glory of watching poor Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) engage in various ill-advised, badly dressed activities whie K9 perches uncertainly on a wall.
