Buffy News    16 December 2002
Buffy's Bond Bid

Buffy Halle Berry's aim to become the first female James Bond has been challenged - by none other than Sarah Michelle Gellar.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Gellar has revealed that she is keen to join the 'Q' of feisty females wanting a licence to kill once current incumbent Pierce Brosnan gives up the famous role.

The newlywed told IMDB, "I want to see more women action stars. I don't see why James Bond has to be a man all the time. When Pierce Brosnan retires I'm going to be the next Bond."

A few years ago, everyone's favourite ex-librarian, Tony Head, was also briefly in the running to become the world's most famous secret agent.
