Is Sarah Michelle Gellar heading for Broadway after she finishes her stint on Buffy?

That's the word from theatre website Broadway.com, who announced last week that Sarah is eyeing the lead role in a top show:

"The buzz from Studio 54 is that Sarah Michelle Gellar may be taking on the role of Sally Bowles in the Broadway [production of] Cabaret."

Bowles (the part played by Liza Minnelli in the film version of the musical) is currently being played by Molly Ringwald.

The Cult team were a little surprised by the rumour - especially as Sarah has gone on record to say she wasn't the biggest fan of her own performance in the Buffy musical, Once More With Feeling.
