Great news for Charisma Carpenter fans this week - she's expecting her first child.

The baby boy is due on 17th March 2003. The pregnancy probably explains Charisma's reduced screen time in Angel's fourth season. Morning sickness and icky demon-slaying are a bad mix.

People magazine, which reported the news, also revealed that Charisma recently married Damian Hardy, a psychology major at Santa Monica College. The couple got hitched on 5th October in a small Las Vegas ceremony, attended only by their families.

The couple are reportedly planning a full-blown showbiz wedding in Los Angeles after their son is born.
