Buffy News    07 October 2002
Amy's nutcracker

Amy Acker is hesitant to suggest too many off-the-wall antics for her character Fred - as Joss Whedon might be listening.

"I have to be really careful what I say," Amy told E!Online last week, "because Joss ends up doing it. This same time last year, I said I wanted Fred to dance. And then he wrote it up where Fred did a ballet scene with Wesley.

"Luckily, that ended up getting cut. But surprisingly, Alexis was better than you'd think. It was the outfit that was so shocking - it was very tight."

One thing Amy would like is the chance to get mean during Angel's fourth season: "I want to be tough and evil. In college I got certified in broadsword fighting and hand-to-hand combat, so I know how to do all that stuff.

"I always say, 'Let me do that!' And they're like, 'Fred wouldn't know how.' But I figure maybe after spending the summer together with Gunn, she'll have picked up a thing or two."
