Buffy News    07 October 2002
Trio go South

Buffy Following the success of their BBC web chat last Friday, Danny Strong, Tom Lenk and Adam Busch wowed audiences at a special Buffy geeks convention this weekend.

The South convention at Heathrow's Radisson Edwardian hotel saw the terrible troika sending up themselves and each other in a series of hilarious talks.

Danny revealed that soap star Morgan Fairchild is a huge Buffy fan, Tom admitted his love for BBC comedy - in particular The Kumars at No. 42 - and Adam discussed his musical career with folk rock band Common Rotation.

Saturday evening's entertainment included a superb acoustic set from Adam and fellow Common Rotation band member Eric before Danny and Tom joined fans on the dance floor. The pair dancing to The Timewarp and The Locomotion isn't something you see every day.

Filming commitments (for what, we wonder?) meant the trio had to fly back to L.A. on Sunday afternoon, but everyone involved still seemed to enjoy this intimate gathering.

Organisers Sector 14 would like to offer attendees an apology, however. Despite their best efforts, everything ran almost completely to schedule. Apparently it's never happened before!

Danny, Tom and Adam will be back in the UK next weekend for the North event in Glasgow.
