Most Wanted - Michael Brown

Michael Brown is wanted for defrauding eight million pounds from former Manchester United Chairman, Martin Edwards.

He duped Edwards into investing cash into bond deals which never took place, instead pocketing the money to finance a millionaire’s lifestyle with a private jet and yacht. He also famously donated over two million pounds of the cash to the Liberal Democrat 2005 election campaign, the party’s largest ever donation.

Brown was charged but failed to turn up at court and hasn’t been seen since. Last May he was sentenced to seven years in his absence.

Brown is described as 6' 2'', heavy build with a round face and greying hair. He has a deep voice and speaks with a soft Scottish accent and has been known to wear glasses. He used to have a distinctive ponytail and goatee beard, but it's believed he may have changed his appearance. It is also likely he is using a false identity.
