Detectives in Staffordshire are urgently trying to trace 31-year old John Anslow who escaped from a prison van in Bromsgrove on Monday 23 January 2012.
Police consider John Anslow to be very dangerous
Anslow was being transported from HMP Hewell Grange, in Worcestershire, where he was on remand after being charged with the murder of Richard Deakin, who was shot at his home in Chasetown, in Staffordshire, in July 2010.
The prison van was attacked by three masked men carrying sledgehammers who got out of a silver Volkswagen Scirocco.
The gang later switched to a silver Mercedes – with the partial registration KR11 in nearby Stoney Lane.

There is a £10,000 reward for information leading to Anslow's arrest and return to prison.
