Police in Bath and North East Somerset are asking for help in indentifying a man and two women responsible for a number of thefts and frauds across the force's area.
The CCTV images are from Price’s jewellers in the High Street in Midsomer Norton in Somerset, where items worth nearly £1,500 were stolen on January 9th, 2011.
The trio asked to see trays of jewellery and between them managed to distract the shop assistant allowing them to take a total of seven items including rings, bangles and necklaces.
Police are linking this incident to two others which took place in Northumberland Passage in nearby Bath before Christmas. And to a series of distraction-type thefts as other stores in the city where shop assistants were tricked into handing over hundreds of pounds.
