| Well
over 100 of you joined us on a special walk in Bubbenhall
with BBC WM on Sunday 17 October, and we have the pictures to prove it!
Take a look at the gallery by clicking the main picture above and you will
see BBC presenters, local guides, rangers and many other walkers.
The walk was hosted by BBC WM's Annie Othen with special
guest experts on archaeology, geology, quarries and more. It was a rare
opportunity to be guided around the walk and to learn about the area and
its history in a fun way. Definitely worth getting a bit muddy for!
If the photographs inspire you, then join in one of the
other events listed below, or make your own walk day by printing off our
map and following the instructions on the pages linked above.
Other attractions
You can also combine our 'Find Your Quarry' Walk Through
Time walk with a visit to Ryton Organic Gardens, which is just 2 miles
from Bubbenhall in the village of Wolston. The garden is signposted with
brown tourist signs.
