Shopmobility services manager Geoff Allen said: "The disabled shopping day and our late-night shopping hours are about encouraging families to take advantage of free parking and come shopping in the city centre with their disabled relatives.
"If people have never used the service before they can register when they arrive, which only takes five minute and take a scooter out straight away."
The Shopmobility team in Coventry also held a disabled shopping Sunday event on 1 December, when they extended their normal Sunday opening times by an extra hour to 10am-4pm.
