You can keep up with all the Sky Blues action with every game broadcast live on BBC WM for Coventry and Warwickshire on 94.8, 104 and 103.7 FM.
To win a chance to go to the Wimbledon game, give us a reason to be cheerful! There aren't many - Macca may play tomorrow, Hyldgaard could be back from injury, we're not Villa.....tell us what you think!
Also, tell us what you think went wrong against Wednesday when everything seemed to be improving against Grimsby. Send in your opinions via the link on the left. They will be published here and could be read out on the radio.

Adam Dents' comments on Fabien Debec are refreshingly honest and more importantly correct.
I thought Gary Montgomery was highly rated so why not give him a go. Also why are we keeping the loan players when we should be cutting back on expenses, lets face it there is nothing to play for now so lets get the young lads in.
Reasons to be cheerful 'Tamworth are going up to the conference'.

Reasons to be cheerful....
Smaller crowds mean smaller queues for the toilets.
Smaller crowds mean you no longer have wait for ages to get away from Highfield Road.
The new grou ..... forget that one.
10,000 die-hard CCFC supporters - who would probably turn up whatever happened....
Wondered how long it would be 'til Vicky emailed you saying "Macca Out!"

In terms of loan players, how do we compare with other Div. 1 teams for number of loan players I wonder? Macca says we lack passion-well he is the manager and the buck stops with him. Criminal not to address fundemental full-back problem-we need balance in the team-we are individuals made up of oldies, kids and loan players. I wouldn't go tomorrow if you gave me free tickets

There are plenty of reasons to be cheerful - we haven't got 300,000 armed troops on our doorstep ready to beat the living daylights out of us for one. But perhaps more appropriately we're not involved in the relegation dog fight - yet. We shouldn't be too down - don't forget Wolves went down 4-1 to then bottom of the table Brighton a couple of weeks ago and they seem to have bounced back quite nicely.

For me the most disappointing aspect of Wednesday nights humiliation, was the fact that Macca stated that the players lacked passion and that Sheffield Wednesday "wanted it more!"
If that is true, I find it very puzzling indeed.
Sure Wednesday were fighting for their very survival and you would expect them to be fired up for the game. But from a City perspective, surely the players were playing for a play-off place (no matter how faint the probability) and the chance of a final in Cardiff? With this, would be the possibility of the ultimate glory of attaining Premiership place.
It makes you think there is something seriously wrong with the spirit amongst some of the playing squad at the club.
I am a big fan of Macca and am sure he will be a success in time, however, the one thing I wish he hadn't said a little while ago and in my books was a big mistake, was to state publicly that there would be what amounts to a clear out in the Summer.
I just wonder how this has affected the moral of many of the players. We are all aware of the impending loss of the loan signings in the close season, but it makes me question whether or not, many other players currently in the squad believe that they too will be on the way out. It would appear that Macca has already made his mind up.
I just wonder has this affected the spirit, lack of focus and motivation amongst certain team members?
The rumours are rife of young McSheffrey being on his way out of the club. I feel he is exactly the sort of player we need right now. He is Coventry kid through and through and always gives 100% effort in my books. I still believe he has many attributes to make him a big time player for the club.
Anyway, let's just hope they get back on track against Wimbledon tomorrow. We really need to go on a great run just to get the whole City buzzing again and to put a least a little smile back on our faces.

What is your favourite Sky Blues goal ever? Or how would you have spent the seven and a half hours since City last scored? Let us know and you could win a prize.
My vote for the greatest ever goal has to be Houchen's at Wembley in '87 as it's quite simply one of the greatest goals ever scored. Or, how about Huckerby's at Old Trafford? Let us know if you agree.

I'm not going to call for Macca's head, i'm behind him 100%. It's his first managerial job, and it's going to take time to learn these things. Alex Fergusson was not an overnight success at Man Utd, and if you remember rightly, they were close to relegation at the end of his first season in charge.
If we are still in the same position this time next season, then yes, perhaps we do need to do something about it.
The only thing I will suggest is that the board try and do something to help the situation. I estimate a crowd of less than 10,000 for this weekend's game. So we've got nothing to lose by dropping the prices to say, £5 for adults and kids for a quid! Let's try and get a few more bums on seats, try and create that atmosphere that's been missing all season, and make the gound look fuller.
What about the club recording bits when we do sing, and then play them at different intervals during the game to try and get the crowd singing again?
Just a couple of ideas which might help us work our way back up the table, although I think our chance of the playoffs has all but gone.
Keep the faith!

Get off Macca's back ! I've just listened to your commentary on the game against Sheffield Wednesday and a 5 - 1 scoreline hurts me like hell , but it hurts the players and Macca just as much. There is a lack of confidence in the side generally because we are not scoring as many goals as we should be as a result of our build up play. We have the potential to be challenging with the best of them in this division as we have seen glimpses of it this season. Nobody can deny that fact The club is in big trouble financially and the only answer for us fans is to keep going to as many games as we can afford to so that there is some kind of income coming in to the club. We must all keep taking it on the chin dust ourselves off and get back out there and support our team . Show them we are with them all the way. Remember what we sing in the West Terrace, "City til I Die .... I'm sure I am ...I know I am ... I'm City til I Die !"

Best Goal ever was by Tommy Hutchison on 4th Nov 1972 @ Arsenal in the 2-0 Win He beat most of the opposing team on a 70 yard run and slotted it into an empty net

Not sure of the answer to the Goal Problem but our best spell came when Bothroyd was played wide right. He is the only player apart from Macca who can creat something on his own - despite being frustrating sometimes. Although Shaw has had a great spell - Davenport offers a lot more from our many corners..
Best Goal - any against Spurs although a Lloyd Mcgrath volley from outside the box sticks in the mind as a cracker.
good to hear Denty back

Loan players cause selection muddle you experts said management know what they are doing, say no more. my solution forget these fancy formations eleven against eleven give the players a definite job to do, base your selection on the old fashioned 3,2,5 back to basics. i know at least one of BBC WM listeners from mount nod will agree with me.

In Andy Turner's column in the Evening Telegraph this week he said there would be 10 players who would leave us in the summer. Who do you think these players will be? Also, is Robert Betts going to Bournemouth?
Good to see Adam is still a fan of Eustace. I'm glad he came back from Middlesbrough.
H
Adam has hit the nail on the head with City not filling positions that are needed i.e not replacing the loss of Frogett on the left hand side cost us our premiership status as not getting proper full backs in this season.has also meant underachievement.
My most sublime goal was Keane against Arsenal 1999 at Highfield Rd to make it 3-1 with a brilliant flick.

I have recently sent a e-mail to the chairman ( no reply yet ), asking for one final season before we move to new stadium, if the west end seats below stand can be converted back to terracing, and trying to generate more noise again and help with a promotion push.
Yes i believe our seasonal push this year is over, and we must concentrate on getting up next year, more noise at home will help Gary bring on the kids as it looks like next years squad will be very young.
My favorite goal of all time was: "The donkey kick"- Willie Carr and Ernie Hunt.
Paul
I know that many people are recommending the way forward and advising what to do - I have another theory......
I was watching the La Liga highlights this week and observing the football, particularly the way the goals are scored. It was clear that most of the goals are scored outside the penalty area with many many shots from distance. This is something we just do not too on a regular basis - look at the Liverpool goal last night, refer back to the Derby game!
There is also an incredible amount of crosses during each game to give the attacking team a chance. We need to stop "walking" to the goal- how many chances and shots have we had during the last three home games?
I am 100% behind McAllister and the Management team, but I think if we are building for the future with a 2/3 year strategy, we need to start now by returning ALL loan players and begin building, especially for next season - this season is gone, so let's begin right away.

Ernie Hunt against Burnley sometime in the early 1970's.
I remember him chipping the Burnley goal keeper, who I believe was Mellor, from almost the half-way line. Mellor's had wandered off his line. Hunt spotted this and caught the ball superbly, the ball sailing over the keeper's head and nestling sweetly in the net at the Kop end.
It was a bit similar to the goal Beckham scored a few seasons ago against Wimbledon.

Favourite goal: Steve Froggatt scoring city's third against Leicester fa cup 1999 city fans going mental. ps Gary Mills is getting stick due to the influence he has over the questionable substitutions. Also it is unfair to say Tamworth are doing well with his team. Darron Gee is doing a better job simple as that. Fair play to Adam though for making some good sense;keep him on the show.
Lloyd Powell
My favourite goal has got to be the 25 yard scorcher that Julian Joachim scores tomorrow to make it Grimsby 0 Sky Blues 4. Either that or Gary McSheffrey's brilliant effort last season at Palace when he volleyed in Hedman's punt up field.
As for what I would spend seven and a half hours doing - there is only one answer, watching back to back 19 episodes of Coronation St without the adverts.
Keep the faith - things can only get better (that would make a good song)

Best goal is the next one!
I don't really agree that losing Lee Hughes has cost us this season Take the penalties out of his goal tally for last season, and how many did he score from open play His contribution was rubbish - and, as a matter of interest how much more would we have to have paid him for him to actually head the ball too?! The difference is last season we created a few chances for our strikers to miss - this season we have created next to nothing. Boosting any players goals tally by scoring from the penalty spot is unlikely this season, as we don't get the ball in the area any more. Most of our recent shots have come from defenders, and usually from outside the area. As for Engonga, he looks hopelessly off the pace in this division. If the Fowler "problem" has been resolved he should be brought in instead

Well call me reckless, but I don't see what is gained by being practical and losing 1 - 0 every week. Get strikers playing in the 6 yard box, and maybe we'll score - having said that we've had streams of corners in the last 4 matches and failed to convert a single 1 - though Mo was unluckly last week - hitting the bar.

I don't know about you but I'm getting completely hacked off by the constant stream of whinging letters appearing every night in the Telegraph. What is it that these so called fans expect - miracles ?? It's about time that they faced up to the fact that we are no longer a Premiership side and accept the fact that we are in the First Division and it's going to be a struggle to get out. The whole idea of being a fan is that you support your team through thick and thin no matter what. This is Macca first season so let's give him a chance and not just take the easy option and show him the door. The Chairman has turned the finances of the club round and given time Macca should be able to do the same on the pitch. So come on let's get behind the team and if any of these so called fans who have said they won't come back to Highfield Road have got a season ticket they no longer want I'll happily take it off their hands.

Man & machine in perfect harmony tonight?????
If this gets through, (there's only one Neil) Martin, Nilsen or Zuniga.
Wahts the point in having a good passing game if it goes nowhere? It's the final third where it all falls apart at the moment.
Maybe Big Mac needs to stay on the bench till the last half hour?
Anyway, I'm still behind him - he's still learning - -look how long it's taken Strachan!
Let's hope it's BADford tomorrow!!

Throwing caution to the wind? Actually creating a few more chances would be a start. The passing is as pretty as can be around the middle of the pitch, but when it comes to the final third .... Matt Jansen is top quality. Let's hope we can bring out the best in him.

If we don't win at Bradford - that's the season over. Next year, let's concentrate on bringing on the youngsters instead of getting has beens on loan.
