Snoopy!!! consists of a number of sketches rather than one continuous storyline. There are seven main characters: Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Peppermint Patty and Woodstock.
The principals are backed by a good chorus and such numbers as Snoopy's Song, Clouds, Daisy Hill and Easter Beagle to name but a few.
Snoopy
Snoopy is an extroverted Beagle. He is a virtuoso at everything he does in his daydreams on top of his doghouse.
He regards Charlie Brown as "that round headed lad who brings him his supper dish". He is fearless but he never speaks - that would be one human trait too many.

Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown wins your heart with his losing ways. It always rains on his parade, his baseball game and his life.
He's an inveterate worrier who frets over everything. Usually he's the butt of the joke and not the joker. He is considerate, friendly and polite but his spirit will never give up the quest to triumph over adversity.
Sally Brown
Sally Brown's brother Charlie Brown was so proud when she was born, he passed out chocolate cigars. Since then he's been struggling to understand her!
She has a schoolgirl crush on Linus but she has her big brother wrapped around her little finger.
Linus Van Pelt
Linus Van Pelt inspired the term 'security blanket' with his classic pose. He is the intellect of the gang and suffers abuse from his big sister Lucy.
Despite his age he can put life into perspective while sucking his thumb. He knows the true meaning Christmas while continuing to believe in the Great Pumpkin.
Lucy Van Pelt
Lucy Van Pelt works hard at being bossy, crabby and selfish. She is loud and yells a lot.
When it comes to compliments Lucy only likes receiving them. If she paying one or even smiling she's probably up to something devious.
Peppermint Patty
Peppermint Patty is a pro on the baseball diamond but in the classroom she's a D-minus all the way.
She has trouble staying awake in class and most of her waking hours in the schoolroom is spent analysing the probability patterns and true-false tests.
Woodstock
Woodstock is the smallest of the characters but has a big presence for a bird. He is a little inept and his flying and logic are erratic.
Although he is the butt of many of Snoopy's practical jokes he's the beagle's closet friend and confidant.
Because he does not speak he has to express his emotions and distress, frustration and sorrow through mime and dance.
