Deep in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside a quiet revolution is happening. The aristocracy is shaking up expectations of the landscape by inviting artists and visitors into a once-private estate.

The gardens were landscaped by ‘Capability’ Brown between 1745-1753 and they now offer some of the most picturesque strolling and picnicking land in the area. How could it get any better? With art, of course.

The 30-acre lakeside area became an open-air art gallery in 2003 and now has around 100 sculptures placed sympathetically outdoors in trees, borders and at lakesides.

The sculptures are also for sale, so if you’re looking for inspiration of hot to spruce up your window box, this is the place!

There is also a small summerhouse on the trail that is used occassionally as an artist's studio and exhibition space.

The art park has teamed up with the Tantalus Project, based in Rugby, to offer studio time and exhibition opportunities to the project members.

When artists are in residence, visitors can often see them working and meet them and occessional workshops are organised.
