Born in Bristol in 1954, Paul studied graphic art and design at The Westcliff Art College, Weston-super-Mare.
He worked as a graphic designer with CBS Records in London on album cover designs, before travelling to Australia over-land via India in 1974/75.
While in Australia, Paul worked with traditional aboriginal painters in the Northern Territory and Queensland and travelled the Australian coast. He explored out-back painting in various mediums but he now prefers to work in water colours.
Paul's first major exhibition was held at Geelong, Victoria, Australia in 1984. He's also exhibited at Cairns, North Queensland in 1988/90, Sydney in 1997 and now Alcester, good old England.

Paul came to Alcester in November 2002 to spend some time with his mother, who lives in Wellesbourne, and his sister, who lives in Studley.
Since then he's observed many unique aspects of Alcester which he's captured in his watercolours.
