Chris Coleman's side avoided relegation thanks to Leicester's inability to score at Stoke on the final day.

The 4-1 defeat means City end the season just a point and a place above the drop zone.

Both teams ended with a share of the spoils at the Ricoh in a match that could have gone either way at the end.

Elliott Ward's fourth goal in three games was cancelled out by Sylvain Ebanks-Blake's. Michael Mifsud and Andy keogh went close to winning the game for their respective teams.

A five-star second-half display by Chris Coleman's side has given City a boost in their bid to avoid relegation.

Coventry trailed at half time but comfortably won the match through goals from Elliott Ward (two), Leon Best, Dan Fox and Michael Doyle.

Chris Coleman's side were unable to hold onto their halftime lead as Stoke fought back to go top of the Championship.

Elliot Ward's penalty wasn't enough for City who are now just a point above the relegation zone.
