Performing at the Godiva Festival
Performance of a lifetime
Watch the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Singing City Choir's performance at the Godiva Festival 2007.
The BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Singing City Choir was formed from non-singing volunteers, who had just 10 weeks to get ready for the performance of a lifetime.
Solo performer from Singing City
After just 10 sessions with BAFTA award winning composer Ilona Sekacz, they took to the stage at the Midland's biggest free music weekend, the Godiva Festival 2007 in Coventry's Memorial Park.
They performed on the Market stage on Sunday 15 July, in front of hundreds of festival goers, family and friends.

It was a nerve-wracking experience, but all 33 members of the choir performed exceptionally well, in front of the large festival crowd and live on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire radio.
