They had a vague idea of fun evenings singing and a little performance or two, but Singing City choir participants Melonie and John soon realised the scale of the ambitious project.

Their degrees of singing experience varied but all shared a passion for the project that created great friendship bonds and helped their sense of pride in Coventry.
They rehearsed tirelessly in the build-up to the Godiva Festival on 15 July and all made it a day to remember. The gig was fantastic!
