Tom is an archeologist and Pete is a scientist, surely not average jobs for aspiring rock gods?

"Have you never seen Indiana Jones?" says Ross. "Surely you know how cool archaeologists actually are?! Every band have to have day jobs and it’s better to have interesting, worthwhile ways to spend your 9-5 than to have to clean toilets and flip burgers like some bands do. Besides, you want to see us when we knock off at 5.15!"

New EP Lost At Sea has launched Men In Caves back to the forefront of the Coventry and Warwickshire music scene. It's a four track EP and also includes two remastered songs from their first EP as bonus tracks.

Ross says the group were chuffed with how the EP turned out:

Men In Caves

"We’re really pleased with the final sound of Lost at Sea. We recorded it as the Moonbase in Coventry over a weekend. The EP tracks reflect a mix of our influences; Am I the One reflects a bit of a Jazz influence, whilst tracks like Funniest Thing and For Your Country have a slightly grungy edge. This EP comes closer to the full, big sound we have developed in our live performances."

You can see Men In Caves play at the Nags Head in Nuneaton on Friday, 16 March - They rate it as the best venue in Warwickshire. They say "It is a really professionally run night with really good sound, good audiences and a big atmosphere."

Men In Caves are also appearing at the Leam 'n' Aid festival at Robbins Well in Leamington on Saturday, 24 March.
