Citizen 1000

We're looking for volunteer Citizen Journalists to take part in our brand new project...

Your stories, your life: our community

Citizen 1000 is an exiting new project from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. What matters to you has always been at the heart of what we do and we want to make sure your stories remain at the centre of our agenda.

We’re looking for volunteer Citizen Journalists to tell us about the stories and issues happening where you live. It could be material for our radio programmes, our website or our regional tv programme BBC Midlands Today.

You may know a great local person we should interview or an exciting event we should cover. You may want to write gig reviews for our web site or give weather reports from where you live. You may be able to offer travel reports on your way to work. You could be a keen gardener with lots of top tips to offer or simply have a fascinating tale to tell.

Whatever your story, you should be part of Citizen 1000.

We can’t promise we’ll use all your ideas but we’re hoping hundreds of great new stories and features from Coventry and Warwickshire will make it on air. We may even ask you to go out and report yourself.
