Students from Lyng Hall School in Coventry have been taking part in a digital story telling project. Workshop organiser Barrie Stephenson explains how the project originated: "The idea for this workshop at Lyng Hall School originated with the Controller of BBC English Regions, Andy Griffee after attending a Citizenship Conference. The idea was to bring together young people and older people in a storytelling project." More about the project Students and parents from Lyng Hall School in Coventry were invited to participate in a digital storytelling workshop. Five students signed up for the four day workshop, working mainly with an older person in their family to produce ninety seconds of local television They used a short script and pictures from the family photo album as the raw materials and learned recording and editing skills to make their finished a digital story. The voice tracks were recorded in the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire studios and then added to the pictures to make the TV film.
