Based in the remote Catskill Mountains and led by enigmatic vocalist Jonathan Donahue, the group followed up with 2001's All Is Dream and The Secret Migration, which was released last year. The Cooper Temple Clause The Cooper Temple Clause previously appeared at the Godiva Festival in 2001, when they were still a relatively unknown band. Hailing from Reading, their albums See This Through And Leave and follow-up, Kick Up the Fire And Let the Flames Break Loose, met with critical and commercial acclaim, notching up a string of top 40 singles and festival appearances. In September 2005, bassist Didz Hammond left the band to join Dirty Pretty Things, who recently played a storming show at the Colly. After their exile, the Coopers are now back with a new single entitled Damage and a new album due for release this summer. Nizlopi Nizlopi are a two piece band, Luke Concannon (guitar and vocals) and John Parker (double bass, human beatbox and vocals). Based in Leamington Spa, they are becoming increasingly popular with their fresh brand of folk music. Nizlopi were BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Band of the Month way back in October 2004 and they achieved national acclaim with their single JCB Song which reached number 1 in the UK singles chart in December 2005. |
