Kristy Gallacher was born to sing and play guitar. After picking up the instrument at the age of seven, she hasn't looked back since. | "I absolutely love playing guitar, there's nothing else I want to do." | | Kristy Gallacher |
In the past couple of years Kristy has become a fixture within the Coventry live music scene, picking up many fans and admirers along the way. She also plays gigs around the Midlands and beyond: "I absolutely love playing guitar, there's nothing else I want to do." Kristy has been sending her CDs off to people within the music business and is hoping to make a career as a singer, but she's fully aware of how hard it is to get people in the industry to take notice: "It's getting them to listen. You can knock on doors but you don't know if anyone is behind them." At the age of 19, Kristy has plenty of time on her side, and she plans to keep on gigging and writing songs, whilst completing her degree in music at Coventry University.
