Hello Annie, It was lovely to meet you this morning.
Nes
It’s typical of the comments that some people make. How many times has Tom Tom 6.0 been mentioned on the radio? It would be nice to hear the gentleman’s song in full (The Bo peep show). Please would you play it again. Thanks. Nes
Tom Tom 6.0
I've read Bens comments though and am just wondering how many "viewers" a radio station gets?
Nes
What a great show. I heard the chap from the Beau Peepshow. Loved it. I will be listening again today.Bye!
Ben 'The Beau Peepshow' Ryan
Thanks Annie for our 'meet my mate' chat this morning, I hope the viewer's ratings didn't go down!! Cheers for letting me speak a bit about our band - www.myspace.com/thebeaupeepshow - I'll be listening in tomorrow to hear my mate have a chat with you and hopefully not make a fool of himself!!
Tim Hammerton
I was wonderful to have you back on early mornings this week. Such good interviews and chat - a much more stimulating start to the day - You have just reminded me of something I miss - Any chance of any more?

Annie, thank you so much for inviting me to start the new chain in 'Meet my mate' on Wednesday last. Thank you also for interviewing cousin Linda. The icing on the cake however was your interview with my daughter, Helen, in Australia. We miss Helen and her family so much so to hear her on BBC C & W was a real treat. Keep up the excellent work.
Helen Guy
Hi AnnieThanks for having me on your mate I really enjoyed it.Helen
George & Ann Starkey
Hi Annie,Thank you for sending the CD. Listening to it was facinating and I think George and I probably learned a lot about each other during our talks with you. Your friendly manner and sensitive handling of our discussions made it very easy for us to talk with you. We were very impressed with your profesionalism. Many thanks
Keith
Hi I,m listening on line from Kerala India.I was a Cov Kid most of my life & every time I come home to visit it changes and not for the better. Shopping in the centre is no longer a joy.Except in The City Arcade (the old Bird Cage) where their are a deluge of "Local" shops from Butchers Cafe's haidresers even an exclusive fab WIne Bar / Music Venue( THAT'S lIQUID) . Thats what Cov should be about otherwise Lemington will keep winning hands down. Also wheres the plants & FLOWERS ? Get your act together Cov Council & for once Listen to the People and clean the place up get rid of the litter and the Gum instead of just sitting on your bums.

I find your spots where you have Dr Ingrams on very intresting,he comes across as being very straight, and to point, its a refreshing change to have someone that is so honest, and explains things in very easey terms that the publick can understand. Its a shame you don't have him on more often.
Stavan Shah
Thank you for having me on Meet My Mate, your truly wonderful! And if you can, do come to One World Week.

DEBORAH CANNELL
Thank you so much for the big bouquet of flowers. It was totaly unexpected. So sorry if I was quiet but the phones kept ringing and all I could think about was picking up the phone to answer. I wasn't aware that my work colleagues were in on the plot. It was a lovely thought. Once I became aware of the plot that is when I became a little more chatty. I am normally the opposite - extrovert and happy. Yes it is my 40th birthday. I have had a traumatic few years with health problems, being made redundant from Coventry Newspapers after 15.5 years and man trouble. But I have a really lovely job, a new man in my life called Nigel and wonderful parents. Life is finally looking really rosie and well again.
Once again thank you so much.
Kindest regards
Deborah Cannell

Is the address for tailored holidays for people wishing to travel alone.
liddyboo
I just heard a bit of the single travel bit on your programme and was wondering if you have details about the travel companion site that was mentioned. You didn't seem to spend much time talking to the guy and I would love to find out more about finding someone to go on holiday with.

I just missed your bookcrossing piece - but if Netstation is still there thank him for sending my books right around the country - he has had a boot full for a while after I was snowed under with books - and they pop up in the oddest places!! Sheffield, Telford, Coventry, Birmingham and more - thanks to my mobile book spreader!
katisha50 (Gill Rose)
Great to hear Bookcrossing on your show.
My favourite places to release books are on the payment machines in car parks. They always go (but not always journalled).
Semioticghost/Esther
I'm another one of your bookcrossing listeners, not you for your bookcrossing updates, but also for the excellent music you play.
I'm just reading "In Praise of Slow" (Carl Honore) courtesy of a fellow bookcrosser, so I've decide to stay in and listen to your show before I rush off to make the most of my day off.
I'm off to the Suffolk Show today (I'm in Ipswich), but I'm not wearing summery clothes and no socks myself - it's *freezing* here and it sounds the same's true for Coventry - brrrrrrrrrr!
I'll try to have a nice day anyway (thanks for the soundtrack), and take lots of pictures.

Hi, Annie
I am emailing you to thank you for my gorgeous bouquet you sent me on February 16th for my 18th Birthday. You made my day very special. I hope you enjoyed my fruit cake.
I also have another special request I would like to nominate my mum Judith Harrison for your special bouquet. If possible i would like her to get in on Monday 27th March. I wouldn't have been able to get through the last few years without her. Two years ago i was diagonised with Joint Hypermobility Syndrome which means all my joints dislocate on a regular basis. But before getting my diagonises i went through two tough years trying to get a disgonises. During this time i was sitting my GCSE's at school. Throughout this time my mum was with me every step of the way. I want her to know i love her loads and i wouldn't have been able to get through it without her. She is one special lady!!!!!

Hi Annie,

Hi Annie!
Isn't BookCrossing great? It's so international. I'm sitting here in Germany, listening to your station via the internet because Sir Steve (netstation) told us about your lovely programme.

Don't believe everything you were told about your family. My Father always said that his Great Grandfather was a Fireman and died when fighting a fire, as the lead roof of a church or theatre melted, and landed on him.
He was a fireman but he died of bronchitis.
Aly Mead - weebly
Thanks for featuring bookcrossing as your website of the day. I live in Northamptonshire but come and work in Coventry from time to time - I used to work on the University of Warwick Science Park - so I plan to drop into the open centre with a few books next time I am up there - as well as visiting a new Official Bookcrossing Zone in Rugby run by another boockrosser.
