A: 1981 freelance and full time in 1986
Q: What has your career involved so far?
A: My BBC career began answering the phones on Radio Birmingham. My first full-time job was as a sports reporter in Kent and then I worked as a sports producer and reporter for BBC Television News. I also worked for News 24 and Five Live sport before returning to my first love, local radio, in late 2004.
Q: What does your job involve?
A: I am responsible for the day-to-day radio output on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.

A: Colin the Woodpecker
Q: What's your favourite place in Coventry and Warwickshire?
A: Compton Verney.
Q: Who's your favourite person?
A: My wife, Mary

A: Watching football and cricket, listening to music and reading.

A: Thai.

A: Bushmills whiskey.
