Royal Academy artists join the Warwick Festival

Strong abstract painting by Sandra Blow

During the Warwick Festival, Eyestorm Gallery will be exhibiting two Royal Academy artists, Sandra Blow and Terry Frost. Both were forerunners of abstract painting in the UK and shared connections with the St Ives group in the 1950s and 60s.
Much of Eyestorm’s collection is for sale, so as well as enjoying the opportunity to see these two influential painters showing together, you get the added buzz of imagining yourself actually owning a piece.

Warwick Festival runs between 1-10 July. Some of the highlights promise to be:

  • Fireworks concerts at Warwick Castle
  • Motionhouse Dance Theatre
  • The Tempest performed by Oddsocks Productions
  • London Jing Kun Opera Company’s Chinese Opera.
  • The Clerks’ Group in The Play of Daniel
  • Vinum Bonum singing music by fifteenth century Warwick composers
  • Sacred Music by Duke Ellington
