Thursday 13 February 2003 St Agnes Chamber of Commerce launches
a new, exciting web-site, www.st-agnes.com

The
site has been designed to display St Agnes' appeal as a superb holiday
destination for all manner of interest groups, walkers, surfers,
fishing enthusiasts, those interested in searching out the local
cultural and industrial heritage.
Separate
areas describe all the Parish's appealing aspects; the beaches at
Trevaunance Cove, Trevellas Porth, Chapelporth and Porthtowan, the
cliff-walks that link them, the craft trail that connects all the
main village's studios, craft workshops and shops.

a glimpse into the mining past |
Links
also present interesting information about St Agnes' role in Cornwall's
tin-mining past, local legends and present day activities.
Carnival
Procession Day draws a large crowd of both holidaymakers and locals
from all over the county. All the major events of the area will
be captured on the new St Agnes website.
A
novel feature that is likely to stimulate interest in the site is
a monthly competition. Prizes are week-end breaks kindly provided
by members of the Chamber.
