Title: City Of Lights
Eleven years ago the people behind Truro's City of Lights parade said they wanted to create a 'new tradition'. They certainly seem to have succeeded. The 2006 parade included hundreds of handmade lanterns and sculptures all made from willow sticks and paper. In his Video Nation film the co-founder, artist Tony Crosby, who's still one of the organisers, shows us how the lanterns are made and talks about the thinking behind the parade. His film also shows us the highlights from the 2006 parade.
