The
Rip Curl Boardmasters is over now but you can enjoy lots of photos
from the week long event including Nuts Boardmasters Beach Babes,
surfing action and picture postcards!

The
Rip Curl WQS 5* ASP event hit Newquay between August 2nd - 8th.
Up to 160 surfers from around the world - including Cornwall's own,
Russell Winter - battled it out for a share of the $75,000 prize
money in a week long contest.
Thousands
of locals and holiday makers soaked up the sun and fun at the Boardmasters
and temperatures were well over 20 degrees celsius.
The BBC Cornwall webteam were in Newquay capturing the sights and
news of this exciting event. Check
