Just wanted to say Cornwall is my most favourite place in the whole world.

Tracey Keyes, New Zealand
Have been out of Cornwall now for 9 years and still miss it terribly, nowhere is quite as beautiful and as comforting as Cornwall.Looking at this site has made me more nostalgic than ever.

Jenni, Liverpool
I lived on the Treneere estate, Penzance, Cornwall for 6 months in 1991 when I was 9 - 10 and attended Gulval primary school. It was a beautiful place, but our whole family was homesick and we ended up moving back to Liverpool. I'm now 22 and old enough to appreciate the beauty of the place, especially Trevaylor Woods and plan a visit this summer. It was wasted on myself and my siblings when we lived there, we just missed city living and the hustle and bustle of Liverpool, but I'm now looking forward to a peaceful weekend away in Penzance. Wonder if it has changed?

Ken, St Austell
I live in St. Austell but work in Syria and look at the BBC Cornwall web pages often to help me get through my time here, the photo's are all beautiful and I recall my family and I at many of locations we've visited together. Precious memories, thank you all.

Glinda Ballard, United States of America
I recently visited my daughter in the Shaftesbury area. The pictures of Cornwall are simply awesome! It reminds me of the beautiful countryside of England each time I visit. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing all of the beautiful pictures. So many times one cannot stop on the roadways to photograph, especially the countryside with the sheep grazing. Thank you for sharing your experiences on here!

I just wanted to say that these photo's are amazing! I haven't been home for the last 5 years..and looking at these pictures makes me so homesick!!! It just goes to show that you don't realise how much you miss/appreciate something until it's gone. I can't wait to go back, and i love having these pictures here to keep me going!

Linda J. Barnicott, Sooke, British Columbia, Canad
So glad I found this wonderful web page!! Am looking for relatives of my husband (William). His father Frederick Charles Barnicoatt was born Nov. 10, 1905 at 50 Charles St. Truro. His father was Henry Barnicoatt whose occupation was Master Hairdresser. We have a Birth Cert. for Charles (the name he went by) which bears the number D 000435 and it states the Register Book of Births is No. 38. You will notice the different spelling of the surname - Charles and his brother William apparently changed the spelling when the came to Canada in the 1920's. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! Linda Barnicott
