NAME:
Lisa (simps, simpson)
LIVES: Illogan Highway, Cornwall
HERO/HEROINE: Lisa Anderson rocks
EXTREME SPORT: surfing, snowboarding
NARROW ESCAPES: lots of fin chops in Australia learning to
surf, not nice bleeding in the water with sharks not too far away!
WORST INJURY: As above and also a groin strain from landing
badly after a jump on my snowboard.
EQUIPMENT USED: 7ft 2 Quicksilver surfboard, 152 Burton Troop
snowboard
PERFECT MOMENT: taking off on a wave early moring at Wategoes
beach, Byron Bay with 3 dolphins dropping in on me! fantastic.
ANY REGRETS: should've been brought up nearer the sea (mum,
dad it's all your fault!)
AMBITIONS: To surf as good as the rest of Cornwall, and to
land a 360.
HOW CAN FACILITIES IN CORNWALL BE IMPROVED: can't it's just
perfect, well warmer weather would be nice.
FAVOURITE LOCATION FOR SPORT: Gwithian, Porthmeor and the
French Alps for boarding.
WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO GO: Hawaii or Australia again.
FAVOURITE TRICK OR MOVE: currently nose diving.
OTHER SPORTS YOU'RE INTO: Snowboarding, running, swimming
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO ANYONE LEARNING: keep going
whatever the weather or surf conditions and practice, practice,
practice.
ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOU: I'm a bit of a northern
nutter.
