Scamnesty Month

All this month of BBC Radio Cornwall's Laurence Reed and the team are running scamnesty month, a month dedicated to helping people in the region who have been the victims of cons and scams. If you've been a target of a con, see how we can help.

In July BBC Radio Cornwall's Laurence Reed is having a Scamnesty month. On the lunchtime programme he will be talking about ways to stop you getting conned out of your hard earned cash.

Over the next month he'll be talking to the Devon and Cornwall Police's Economic Crime Unit about the scams doing the rounds in Cornwall. You will also hear from local people who have been scammed and how it has affected their lives.

In addition to this, throughout the month Laurence will also have guest experts with top advice on how to avoid being tricked and putting the fraudsters to justice.

If you've been targeted or a victim of a con and want to let Laurence and the team know about it, you can get in touch by calling the programme between 12pm and 3pm by phoning 01872 22 22 22 or you can text 07786 20 12 22.

Alternatively you can get in touch with the programme by filling in our interactive Scamnesty form at the bottom of this page.

Keep checking BBC Cornwall's Scamnesty page for updates throughout Scamnesty month.

If you've been targeted by a scam tell us what happened.
