By chance he photographed a sleeping figure in a waiting room; when the person was revealed to be the Home Secretary, O'Neill found further employment on Fleet Street with The Daily Sketch in 1959. Terry O'Neill also briefly branched into the movies, as an executive producer of the 1981 film 'Mommie Dearest', a film about Hollywood legend Joan Crawford which starred Faye Dunaway. Now a special exhibition of his work will be taking place at specialist photographic Gallery PZ Gallery on Penzance promenade. The exhibition will feature limited edition fine art photographic prints of some of Terry O'Neill's most iconic images of celebrities from stage, screen and the world of pop music. The exhibition has been arranged in conjunction with Tristan's Gallery, and PZ Gallery. The exhibition opens on Friday 3 July and will run until Saturday 15 August 2009.
