Razorlight at the BBC
It's almost five years since Razorlight's debut album but their star is still shining bright. The band released their third studio album 'Slipway Fires' in late 2008. It reached it number four in the UK album charts.
The band's accolades started early when the NME and Q both named them Best New Band in 2004. Their anthems include 'Somewhere Else', 'Golden Touch' and more recently the spectral piano ballad 'Wire to Wire'.
Past Razorlight concert highlights include: Hyde Park, London as part of the Live 8 series of concerts and supporting Queen + Paul Rodgers in front of 60,000 people. The band also played the Unleashed Festival in Newquay in August 2005.
Peter Hampel, Eden’s Creative Director, said: "With four bands confirmed already, this year's Sessions sees some of the world's greatest guitar bands descending on Cornwall."
The Eden Sessions are returning for their eighth year, having previously played host to the likes of Brian Wilson, Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and many more.
