Vivien Prideaux is a textile dyer. Her love of Indigo and the Japanese Shibori process has taken her all over the world. She uses hand woven hemp, linens, velvets and cashmere for the magical process of dyeing with natural indigo.
Vivien's love of colour is inherent. For 25 years her passion and commitment to textiles as a dyer, embroiderer and lecturer has taken her all over the world.

Shibori is the inventive art of Japanese shaped resist dyeing. Indigo and natural dyes are contemporary techniques of our time, but she always delves further to discover through traditional and cultural references in her work.
