Oasis Reset Cornish date

Oasis have rescheduled their gig at The Eden Project after they were forced to cancel their September date due to Noel Gallagher sustaining injuries after being attacked during a gig in Toronto, Canada where he was pushed from the stage.

The Eden Project and Oasis have officially announced a new date for the band to play at Eden.

The concert on July 14 is the first announcement for Eden’s 2009 summer music programme.

Oasis were forced to postpone three shows this autumn as a result of the injuries Noel sustained when he was attacked on stage in Toronto.

A CT scan after the incident revealed that Noel suffered three broken and dislodged ribs in the attack and was advised not to perform for at least a week.

As well as the Cornwall show at Eden - which was to be filmed by MTV- Oasis had to pull out of shows in Cologne and Paris.

The band's management said the Oasis UK Arena Tour, which is due to begin on 7 October, would be going ahead as planned.
