KT Tunstall at Eden
Scottish singer songwriter KT Tunstall will be bringing her hit tunes to the Eden Project as part of the 2008 Eden Sessions. Support will come from The Guillemots. Thousands are expected to attend the event. Find out more about KT.
It's Drastic, it's Fantastic, and it's totally true.
KT Tunstall is going to be performing at this year's Eden Sessions.
The Scottish star will take to the stage, armed with a handful of songs, on Friday 25 July 2008.
In just three short years KT has toured the world a fair few times, and become a festival favourite from Glastonbury to T In The Park (and back again).
Big smiles from KT
She has secured a Mercury Music Prize nomination, as well as outselling every other female artist in the UK in 2005.
KT has also won a Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist.
The Scottish performer celebrates classic singer-songwriting in the tradition of Rikki Lee Jones, Carol King and Fleetwood Mac with an articulate, accessible, immediate brew of rootsy sass, wistful quandary and after-hours atmosphere.
Her debut album, 'Eye To The Telescope', released in December 2004, combined intimate authentic folk elements with a slick production style which won her both a Brit and an Ivor Novello award.

KT's tour buses run on biofuel, she wears eco-fashion, doesn't own a car and her album sleeves are printed on 100% recycled paper. Her London home is undergoing an eco-transformation and her new studio and loft extension will use reclaimed wood, sheep's wool wall insulation, spray taps and solar panels.
On the release of 'Eye To The Telescope', she planted a 6,000-strong forest of trees in Scotland.
Her latest album, 'Drastic Fantastic', released last September, feels like an album made to play live, with 'Little Favours' and 'If Only' showing off her excellent backing band.
"The last three years have changed me as an artist,' says the 31-year-old Scotswoman on her website kttunstall.com.

"I don't think it's altered me as a person. Which is a relief! I think the major part of that change is that my bar has been raised - I've realised what's possible throughout the last three years of making a first album, touring it with a band, seeing how that album can turn into something else on stage, and how we can actually make it better. And that it's imperative to improvise."
Catch KT and Guillemots at the Eden Sessions 2008 on Friday 25 July. Tickets go on general release from Thursday 3 April. Tickets are £33 each and include a £5 booking fee.
