Shortly after 2am this morning, Tony successfully broke the record while talking to Jenny Barnard of North London. The phone call was kick started with Tony chatting to famed British weather girl Sian Lloyd almost two days ago. Since Wednesday hundreds of keen Brits have also taken hourly chat slots with Tony to help reach this landmark moment, showing there is nothing the British public likes more than a good gossip. “I've now got my own little piece of world record history!” says Jenny Barnard, a volunteer from North London, who was speaking to Tony when the record was broken. Yet Tony just keeps going and going. Conversations subjects have, so far, ranged from heartbreaks and romance to psychobabble and from stomach mucous to the upcoming Led Zeppelin concert!
