Re-Dress to Impress

How many outfits can you think of that have been tucked away in your wardrobe for years? You know that you could do with a big clear out, but you just cannot bring yourself to part with those trusty old trousers. Have you though about reusing them?

We all know that there are outfits hanging in our wardrobe that have been there for months and maybe even years that we are never going to wear again.

It is a dilemma every girl is faced with at some point. Your favourite outfit, which cost you an arm an a leg at the time, is no longer fit to wear but you can't bear to throw it away.

One of Lynne's customised creations

You will be pleased to know then that help is at hand from local woman, Lynne Devey, a "wardbrobe surgeon" who has been holding a series of workshops showing people how to recycle their clothes.

Lynne advises people to re-use their old clothes by chopping them up and accessorizing them into an brand new outfit., making them into one-off unique pieces that no-one else in the world will be wearing.

Lynne helps people alter these outfits and has successfully changed jumpers into dresses, trousers into skirts and skirts into capes.

Our Planet Cornwall producer Issy Taylor's went to meet Lynne and find out out this new business venture:
