The countdown to the most exciting games in the history of two Cornish rugby clubs has begun. On Sunday 15 April the Cornish Pirates and Mounts Bay go to Twickenham hoping to get their names on two national cups. Coaches are planned from the main pick-up points throughout Cornwall The Cornish Pirates secured their place in a nail biting semi-final victory against Plymouth Albion. They'll now meet Exeter Chiefs in the final of the EDF Energy National Trophy. Mount Bay beat Caldy in the Semi-Final of the Intermediate Cup by 33-10. They'll now play Dunstablians for the Trophy.

The Pirates game will kick off at midday with Mounts Bay taking to the field at 5pm. Mounts Bay Rugby Club are selling tickets for their game. For more information please call 01736 330074. Tickets for the Pirates' game can be purchased from the club ticket office 'Hotlines' on 01736-335312/335314/335315, and application forms can also be downloaded from the Cornish Pirates website. Click on the link below for the website: Tickets are priced at £40 (£20 Juniors) and £25 (£10 Juniors). Junior concessions are 15 years and under. Under 5's with their accompanying adults must be seated in the lower tiers. Season ticket holders and supporters who held their stubs from the Earth Titans game have until midday on the 2 April to purchase their Twickenham ticket needs. Coaches will leaving mid-morning Saturday for those planning an overnight stay, with the 'day trip' coaches departing around 5am on Sunday morning.
