The Listeners' Club was formed to help BBC Radio Cornwall keep in closer contact with the listeners who are very interested in the station.
We know from your letters, phone calls, and from meeting you, that you're keen to find out behind-the-scenes information, to ask questions about the programmes and to share your views on everything from the jingles and the music to the tide times and the sport.
We also know from the fantastic response we get to outside broadcasts, Open Days, Coast-to-Coast walks and concerts that people are keen to take part in BBC Radio Cornwall activities. Listeners have also said that they enjoy meeting each other and the people they hear on the radio – chatting about BBC Radio Cornwall is a great ice-breaker.

The Listeners' Club newsletter will give you the chance to find out more about the station, enter 'members only' competitions, find out in advance about BBC Radio Cornwall events and radio programmes, send in your questions and give your opinion about anything you hear.
Each newsletter will focus on one of the BBC Radio Cornwall team at work and in person.
The Listeners' Club gives the people working for BBC Radio Cornwall to find out more about you and your areas of interest, expertise and experience.
We'd like to hear your stories and find out the things that are important to you in your life – that way we ensure our programming covers the right subjects. It's a way for you to improve your media skills by getting to know the best way of publicising your events or issues, appearing on the radio, talking to our skilled staff and getting background knowledge.
We also hope you won't mind us asking you to take part in our programmes and campaigns.
