Thousands sampled the cool cars and hot clubbing nights in Newquay over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. Run To The Sun is a three day event spread over two sites in Newquay; Trevelgue Holiday Park which is the main event site, and Tregunnel car park in the town which hosts the Show 'n' Shine. The daytime over the May Bank Holiday saw hours of hot sunshine in Newquay, and car lovers of all ages came out in their thousands to enjoy the cool cars on display. When the festival was launched way back in 1987, just 70 cars turned up but it has continued to grow each year. Now thousands of car enthusiasts from across the UK and beyond travel to Newquay to indulge in this annual festival which attracts somewhere in the region of 80-100 000 visitors each year. The main arena at Trevelgue came alive at night with top named DJs like Judge Jules and Andy Farley filling the dancefloor until the early hours.
